Time to Write 2026 will open on 6 November 2025 and close on 1 February 2026. Please do not create an account or enter pupils until this time.
Entry is open to all schools. Schools first need to create a Time to Write 2026 School Account. If you are a parent/guardian, tutor/agent or other, please do not create an account – please see our entry information on write.iseb.co.uk. ISEB will review all account registrations.
Each school should only have one account with a primary contact. The primary contact should provide their name and email address, and set a password. If your school will have more than one colleague entering pupils into the competition, they should all log in using the same email address and password. There is a space in the entry form to state the name of the colleague entering each pupil, but schools are advised not to have more than one account. Important: Time to Write 2026 School Accounts must be created with an email address that is not already associated with an ISEB School Account for the website or online shop, as it must be a unique email address so that the system can direct you to the right dashboard on login. If you are unsure about this, please contact ISEB for support.
Once your school’s primary contact has created the account, log in using the email and password set up when registering. You will be redirected back to this page, from which you can access the Time to Write 2026 Entry Form and start entering pupils
You will need to enter your name, as the school representative entering the pupil, provide details about the pupil, and enter the pupil’s story title and body. The section about your school should pre-populate, so you don’t have to enter this information into the form each time you enter a pupil. If for any reason this section is not pre-populating, please contact ISEB for support.
When logged in, you can access your Time to Write 2026 School Account dashboard by clicking on the person icon in the bottom left corner of your screen (on desktop) or the top of your screen (on mobile). Go to the section called ‘PUPIL ENTRIES’ to review your entries. You will be able to see which colleague submitted each entry (submitter name) and all of the information provided for each pupil in a grid. To review a story, click on ‘story’ and the full story will appear in a pop up box to read. If you have provided any incorrect information, contact ISEB for support. Please note that we will not be able to make spelling, grammar or similar edits to stories or story titles once they have been submitted.
