ISEB and IAPS Time to Write 2026 School Entry Area

Welcome to the Time to Write 2026 Area for Schools

This area is for schools that wish to enter pupils into the ISEB and IAPS Time to Write 2026 creative writing competition.

Time to Write 2026 has now closed. Thank you to all schools that entered.

Shortlisting will begin on 10-22 February 2026. A panel of esteemed judges will review the top 10 entries in each category at a judging day on 27 February 2026, and the winners, runners-up and highly commended stories will be announced on World Book Day, 6 March 2025.

Coming soon – order participation certificates for your pupils

For Time to Write 2026, schools will have the option to order digital participation certificates for pupils who submit an entry.

Certificates will be available to order here in March 2026, after the winners have been announced. Certificates will cost £2.00 each (admin fee).

Ordering is optional, and winners, runners-up and highly commended pupils will continue to receive a free digital certificate.
