Principal Subject Specialist for the CE History setting team, Robert Pace, is joining History teachers and subject leaders at the upcoming IAPS course focusing on skills, progression and attainment in History.
The course will explore how teachers can raise attainment in History within the National Curriculum, including the progression of skills and cross-curricula approaches.
Publishers will present resources and materials which can aid teachers in the delivery of the history curriculum and Common Entrance. To complete the day, ISEB setter Robert Pace will examine the upcoming changes to Common Entrance, including the rationale behind these changes as well as the exam paper and content. This session will also cover the transition from KS2 to CE and how KS2 teaching is affected by these changes.
