ISEB has embarked on a partnership with esteemed global exam delivery service VICTVS to provide invigilation services for the ISEB Common Pre-Tests throughout 2023-24. The collaboration seeks to provide equitable access to education and assessment opportunities on a global scale, ensuring that children who take the ISEB Pre-Tests in Hong Kong are no less prepared and supported than those taking the test in Hampshire.
From August 2023, VICTVS will be responsible for providing invigilation services for the ISEB Pre-Tests for children who are unable to sit the tests at their current or prospective school, both in the UK and internationally. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both ISEB and VICTVS and forms part of an ongoing effort to champion equitable access to high-quality education, ensuring that no child is disadvantaged in pursuing their educational goals.
Having been established 120 years ago to produce and deliver the Common Entrance (CE), ISEB is best known today for its adaptive, shared assessment, the ISEB Common Pre-Tests. Taken at 11+ to support entrance to the UK’s leading independent schools, the ISEB Pre-Tests have been developed in partnership with Century Tech, utilising their award-winning technology to deliver an adaptive test experience that provides an accurate picture of pupil achievement and potential.
The ISEB Pre-Tests are a truly international entrance assessment and, in the last testing session, were taken by candidates in over 70 countries worldwide. As a global organisation with a wealth of experience and expertise, VICTVS is a natural partner for the exam board of the independent sector, with the collaboration set to enhance access to robust exam services on a global scale best suited to the international nature of independent education today.
