The ISEB Pre-Tests (11+) are a set of online, adaptive tests used by leading senior schools as part of their admissions processes. There are four parts to the Pre-Tests: English, mathematics, verbal reasoning (VR) and non-verbal reasoning (NVR).

Guardian registration is now open for the ISEB Pre-Tests 2025-26 testing session. 2025-26 testing will close in May.

This World Book Day, ISEB and IAPS are delighted to announce the winners of the Time to Write 2026 creative writing competition. This year’s theme, 'thread', inspired a wide range of imaginative stories. From tales of friendship and connection to mystery and adventure, pupils explored many creative interpretations of the theme.
